Oily waste
At Mid West Septics category 6 waste oils and emulsions is a major part of our work.
This includes the collection and removal of oil interceptor waste. The waste can have different strength. It can be of low strength (floccable) or high strength (not floccable). This requires different treatments at the waste treatment plant to ensure good waste management.
We also collect and dispose of oil / water mixtures often involving the pump out waste water holding tank and pump pits.
It may involve the collection of oil sludge. This may be waste collected in wash down bay drains or interceptors.
All waste is sampled at the laboratory of the relevant waste treatment plant to establish the exact category of waste and the appropriate treatment of the waste.
